Codiak was licensed by the ZFDP in Kreuth in 2011 and by Westphalia in Münster-Handorf in 2013. He passed his stallion performance test in October 2012 in Neustadt/D. with a final score of 8.63 for jumping, canter and character and a score of 8.25 for rideability.

Under Danica Duen, Codiak placed fourth at the 2013 Bundeschampionat for four-year-old mares and geldings – with consistently high scores for his basic gaits and rideability. In 2014 he won and placed in novice (A) and elementary (L) level tests for young dressage horses and in 2015 he placed in medium (M) level tests for young dressage horses.
