Ancestry

The sire Landjunge, a son of the great Landgraf I, won tests for young show jumpers and then continued his career in the USA over international measurements. He produced twelve licensed sons and several state premium mares for breeding. Among his most striking sport offspring are Lacrimoso under Patrice Delaveau/FRA and Lanthago under Werner Muff/SUI.

The dam Herzdame II produced the medium (M) level show jumpers Ragnarök (by Lavaletto), Lake Tahoe (by Lasino) and Quilato (by Quidam’s Rubin) as well as the mares Par Exellence (by Linaro), dam of the licensed and internationally successful stallion Christos (by Cristo), and Shamrock I (by Canturo), dam of the internationally successful show jumper Crunch (by Clarimo).

The dam’s sire Calato (by Capitol I) placed in the 1993 Bundeschampionat Final under Herbert Blöcker and later went on to great success with the Danish young rider Jennifer Foghd Pedersens. More than 20 of his sons were licensed. Of the 3.2 million Euros in winnings of his offspring, the three-time European Champion Cöster/Christian Ahlmann alone accounts for 1.4 million Euros.

The granddam Verina also produced the advanced (S) level show jumper Lesmona (by Landlord), the medium (M) level show jumper Capello (by Calato) and Belona (by Fernando). The latter became dam of the Grand Prix dressage horse Layout (by Linaro) and the three Danish licensed stallions Bogegaarden’s Capello (by Calato), Bogegaarden’s Quattro (by Quinar) and Concord (by Corrado II).

In the third and fourth generation are Caletto II, sire of the Olympic Champion Classic Touch/Ludger Beerbaum, and the Irish-bred Thoroughbred Marlon xx, who provided top horses for all disciplines.

The great-granddam Gera produced the Grand Prix dressage horse Cocktail (by Calgary) and the advanced (S) level show jumper Charly (by Caletto II).

From the line other internationally successful show jumpers.
