Cashmere’s foal crops impress year after year! Modern foals, very vital and yet people orientated, with three very good basic gaits. They have won many awards and have been at the top of the foal shows several times. One son (M. by Cefalo) won bronze at the German Foal Championships in Lienen and ranked eleventh among the best colts in Germany. In Redefin, Cashmere 2022 from his first crop was the champion mare at the mare show and in Münster-Handorf, a daughter of C’est Ca shone in the final ring of the Westphalian elite show and was the champion mare in her mare performance test. The oldest offspring, four-year-olds in the 2023 season, have already collected victories and placings in tests for young show jumpers, dressage horses and young riding horses. This demonstrates the dual disposition that Cashmere consistently passes on.
"Cashmere continues his picture-book career with successes up to international advanced (S) level. His state-of-the-art offspring are in no way inferior to him."
- Sandra Schürner
"How beautiful can a horse be? Our cover hero is the best example," wrote the editors of "Reiter Revue" about Cashmere, who graced the June issue of the trade magazine. But Cashmere is so much more than just the visual ideal of a four-legged athlete. In 2023, he also visibly matured and became a handsome sire who can now point to successes up to international advanced (S) level. Ever since his title as Reserve Champion Jumper at the Westphalian Main Licensing and Vice Bundeschampion with scores of up to 9.5, he has remained true to his lineage as a model pupil.
Offspring with remarkable dual talent
Cashmere not only impressed with his flawless performance last year. His offspring, the oldest of which are now four years old, also attracted a lot of attention thanks to their expressiveness, correct foundation and remarkable double talent. They have everything that characterizes modern riding horses: Willingness to perform, rideability, spirit, courage, ability at the jump and plenty of agility in the basic gaits. This was recently impressively demonstrated by the Cashmere son Cashiano Fantastico, who crowned his first competition start with a victory in a test for young riding horses.
An exceptional stallion continues to mature
Cashmere is not considered our "crown prince" for nothing, as he first grew up as an orphan and then as an adopted pupil in our own nursery. He has already impressed with high marks at the HLP Sport Test I in Verden and the 14-day test in Neustadt/Dosse - not only for his jumping ability, but also for his quality of movement. And his offspring already include winners as well as champion and final ring mares. With Cashmere, an exceptional stallion continues to mature who combines modernity, hereditary power and sporting prospects to perfection.
Cashmere is the shining reserve champion stallion of the Westphalian licensing 2017. He is a multi-talent of the very best kind, combining an outstanding physique with the highest sporting attributes.
Three basic gaits for the highest demands and jumping in absolutely exceptional quality in terms of technique, bascule and ability predestine him to be an absolute double talent, which he proved in 2018 with several top placings in tests for young riding horses and a downright outstanding 14-day test in Neustadt (Dosse): Overall score of 8.33 with a dressage disposition of 8.14 and jumping score of 8.43 - that is very rare these days! He passed the HLP Sport Test I in Verden in 2019 with a final jumping score of 8.65 (rideability 8.80). In 2020, he completed the sport test for 5-year-old stallions with a score of 8.71, whereby the score of 9.0 for canter and rideability deserve special mention. In 2021, Cashmere claimed a favourite place for himself with a score of 9.0 in the Bundeschampionat qualifier, which he impressively justified with the title of Vice Bundeschampion of 5-year-old show jumpers. In 2021, he repeated this score in the qualifier for the Bundeschampionat and placed in the international arena for the first time with Marco Kutscher in the saddle.
The stallion mastered his class goal for the 2023 show season, starting in the advanced class, with flying colors: He has already placed in international competition and proved that there is still plenty of "room for improvement".
The sire Cristallo I has himself demonstrated exceptional versatility. The dam Novice previously produced the licensed and Bundeschampionat-successful son Carento with Caretino, who in turn was able to create a monument with the Bundeschampion Caressini, Carento’s full sister, the Bundeschampionat-fifth Gut Neuenhof’s Cantate, and as full siblings to Cashmere the S-successful Capriole 38 as well as the Westphalian show jumping champion mare Cristalies, who in turn produced the Vice Westphalian Champion Gut Neuenhof Columbo. Novice’s full sisters Kamanjola and Mordela also became stallion dams and produced the licensed sons Coco Jambo (PB Oldbg.) and Le Champ Ask (licensing winner 2008) respectively. High fertility is firmly anchored in this mare family: their common dam Bordela produced 13 foals, seven of which were placed at advanced (S) level.
The HLP-winning dam’s sire Contender was one of the most proven sires in Germany: His offspring include 127 licensed sons and 427 S-successful sport horses. Contender’s offspring earnings have now broken through the fabulous ten million euro mark. With Lorenz, Cor de la Bryère, Rigoletto and Attila, there are four half-blood stallions in direct succession in the falling line, which characterizes the high nobility of this line.
Cashmere stammt aus dem Holsteiner Stamm 1094, der bisher 20 gekörte Hengste hervorgebracht hat, darunter Beethoven (CZE), Carambole (NED), Chromat (PB Hess.), Cornet de Lux (PB Hann.), Feldjunge (PB SAnh.), Lacado (USA), Latano I (BEL), Latano II (USA), Niarchos (Holst. Verb.) und Quick Fire (PB Holst., internat. SPR erf. m. Markus Brinkmann).
