As one of the most talked-about sires among pony stallions, Gold Garant presented his first foal crop in 2023. This showed above all that he reliably passes on his own qualities: his sons and daughters were highly modern, beautiful in foundation and with impressive quality of movement. A daughter of Gold Garant was crowned filly champion of the Schleswig-Holstein/Hamburg Pony Breeding Association in Bad Segeberg. At the German Foal Championships in Lienen, Gold Garant not only produced the winner and runner-up of the pony colts, but also the winner of the pony fillies. Daughter Gabby Blue Eyes, a beautiful Perlino foal out of a dam by Calvin Klein, was sold at the Westphalian Foal Auction for the top price of 20,000 euros.
"Gold Garant is undoubtedly an exceptional pony. Riding comfort, docility, talent and that very special lightness: he embodies the ideal of a modern sportsman."
- Danica Duen
There are only a few riding pony stallions that cause as much euphoria as Gold Garant. Not only is he still one of the most popular young stallions, he also seamlessly continued his exceptional career in 2023. Once a celebrated record-breaking auction foal and Westphalian champion stallion, now Westphalian champion and Bundeschampionat finalist: Wherever Gold Garant appears, hearts fly to him.
Celebrated Westphalia champion
With its eye-catching special paintwork and flawless topline, Gold Garant knows how to impress; it also offers almost unlimited shoulder room and thrust. As an athlete and sire, he is now continuing the special career that was already announced when he was named Champion Stallion of the 2021 Westphalian Main Licensing. He is exemplary under saddle. The past season began with a superior victory in the Riding Horse Championships in Preußisch Ströhen; this was followed by victory in the qualifier for the Westphalian Championships and finally the title of Westphalian Champion of four-year-old riding pony stallions in 2023. It was hail of 9s - and this winning streak did not stop in Warendorf. With a score of 8.7, he also qualified impressively for the final of the four-year-old riding pony stallions.
Pure dominance at the German Foal Championships
Gold Garant's pedigree reads like a "Who's Who" of German dressage pony breeding thanks to proven greats such as Golden Grey, FS Champion Deluxe and FS Don't Worry. With proven genetics of the finest quality, exorbitant talent for movement and an excellent interior, he is a real "guarantee" for success. His strong first foal crop with many championship foals in all parts of Germany proves that he passes on these qualities without compromise. For example, one of his daughters was crowned champion filly of the Schleswig-Holstein/Hamburg Pony Breeding Association in Bad Segeberg. Finally, the German Foal Championships in Lienen turned into a true Gold Garant Festival. Gold Garant was not only the winner and vice-champion of the pony colts, but also the winner of the pony fillies. Gold Garant's foals arouse desire: His daughter Gabby Blue Eyes, for example, a beautiful Perlino foal out of a dam by Calvin Klein, was sold at the Westphalian Foal Auction for the top price of 20,000 euros. What a march through!
Gold Garant is exceptional in every respect - and is already one of the most sought-after pony stallions in the country.
Gold Garant can already look back on a picture-book career. Even as a foal, he aroused desire by winning the qualifier for the German Foal Championships; he was finally knocked down to his current owners, Ömer Boyar van Baaren and Sandra and Dr. Axel Schürner, for the record price of 37,000 euros at the 2019 Westphalia Week.
2021 the youngster shone on the occasion of the main licensing in Münster-Handorf. "A winner from the very first moment when he entered the Körparkett in Münster-Handorf and was able to maintain this impression until Sunday afternoon", this is how Breeding Director Thomas Münch described the performance of the eye-catching young stallion. Not only with the exceptional quality of his movement, but also at the jump and last but not least with charm and nerves of steel, Gold Garant convinced and was crowned the beaming champion stallion.

With Golden Grey NRW, Gold Garant can point to a highly successful sire. As runner-up in the final of the LVM Foal Championships, 2nd Reserve Champion of the Westphalian Main Licensing 2016 and Vice Federal Champion, Golden Grey NRW, who is in the tradition of the legendary sire Golden Dancer, looks back on an extraordinary career.
Gold Garant’s dam, State Premium mare Championata, combines with FS Champion Deluxe and FS Don’t Worry probably the most prestigious names in dressage pony breeding at the moment and at the same time number 2 and 1 of the FN breeding evaluation. Through the connection to Power Boy, Gold Garant also carries the blood of the stamp stallion Downland Folklore, who had a decisive influence on Dutch and German riding pony breeding.
Championata’s dam line includes the licensed stallions Top Champy, Crash Kid and Champion Supreme as well as the dressage ponies Cipollini and Smoky, who were successful up to medium level.
