With these attributes, Estobar NRW himself was not only the celebrated champion stallion of the 2006 NRW licensing, performance test discipline winner and qualified for the Bundeschampionat, he was also successful in international Grand Prix sport. This is confirmed by the FN's breeding value assessments, which have ranked both Estobar NRW himself and his sons Escolar and Emilio Sanchez in the top 10 percent of sires in both the young horse and show horse sectors for years. Estobar NRW is the last direct Ehrentusch son of importance in breeding. Together with Escolar, he has ensured that the E-line, which is associated with so many positive characteristics, is preserved for dressage horse breeding and sport.

Reliability of inheritance is based on cross-generational care of successful strains. Estobar NRW is the best example. His dam Florence by Ferragamo is a representative of the Westphalian line 218, which produced five internationally and nationally successful Grand Prix horses in the Wittig family alone, including Brioni W and Bertoli W. Estobar NRW sired another Bundeschampion with the licensed stallion Equitaris I, who trotted off the Burandtwiese with the winning sash as a four-year-old. The Celle state stud stallion Emilio Sanchez has S*** successes to his name. Estobar NRW brought a championship horse with Ein Traum, who competed for Spain at the 2019 European Championships and later became an U25 horse for Pauline Holzknecht.
