Last weekend, the horse town of Verden an der Aller was all about the German Youth Dressage Championships.
Also nominated for the Championships was Lana-Pinou Baumgürtel with the only seven-year-old Escolar daughter ZINQ Escalla OLD FH. The newly formed pair had recommended themselves by winning the Westphalian Youth Championships in August. And also in Verden, the 17-year-old Lana-Pinou showed great nerves of steel and drove the Escolar – Dimaggio daughter, bred by Maike Hinrichsen, sovereignly to bronze place in the DJM Juniors. A perfect 73 percent in the first round and 74.947 percent in the second round were topped by 77.2 percent in the advanced (S*) level freestyle dressage test on the final day. No wonder that a beaming Lana-Pinou Baumgürtel could be seen at the award ceremony.
We sincerely congratulate them on these impressive results and look forward to further glamorous performances by this likeable couple.
