Thomas Wagner certainly returned home to Kronenhof highly satisfied after this show weekend. He not only had two victories and a second place at S*** level in his pocket with the nine-year-old gelding Escolux. Thanks to his second place in the final qualifier of the Louisdor Prize, he also secured his ticket for the Frankfurt Festhalle with the Escolar-St. Moritz son. The pair had already qualified for the final of the Nuremberg Burg Pokal last year – now the duo is continuing their winning streak. A brilliant preview of a future on the international stage.

Escolar’s Emil, also a finalist in the 2024 Burg Pokal and also trained and presented by Thomas Wagner, was no less successful. The imposing gelding with the striking pedigree (Escolar – Contender) won all three tests of the St. Georges Tour in Guxhagen-Dörnhagen with ease. The highlight of this march through: victory in the Prix St. Georges freestyle with 77.00 percent.

Around 400 kilometers further south, Dorothee Schneider had reason to celebrate: With the nine-year-old Élysée GV, a mare bred by Gestüt Vorwerk, she danced to victory in the Intermediaire I. The Escolar-Sandro Hit daughter showed fantastic movement quality. “Everything felt very light and this feeling was simply super,” Schneider commented on her ride on her Instagram channel afterwards.

“We are delighted with every single success of the offspring of our trademark stallion Escolar,” says Sandra Schürner, owner and managing director of Hengststation Gut Neuenhof. His sons and daughters are proving once again this season: they have absolutely arrived in the advanced class and are ready for the international level.”
