Annabella Pidley and Espe were in a league of their own at the European Young Riders Championships. GOLD in the individual classification and BRONZE with the British team.
The British rider won the individual classification with the Escolar – Dimaggio daughter bred by Walter P.J. Droege last Wednesday with a new personal best score: 75.147 percent meant the victory in this competition, in which 54 participants competed. On Saturday, the likeable pair topped their best performance from Wednesday and won the second round with an impressive 76.941 percent. This meant that the title of “EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP YOUNG RIDERS 2023” went to Annabella Pidgley and the Escolar daughter Espe.
The British team thus secured bronze in the team classification, with Annabella Pidgley with Espe probably playing the most significant role here.
