In neighbouring Denmark it was a son of Escolar who was unbeatable in a Prix St. Georges. Anne-Mette Stranby-Hansen had saddled the eight-year-old Escolar – Sir Donnerhall I son Eternity, who won bronze at the WEG last year. An impressive 76.535 % meant the clear victory in this competition.
The dominance of the E-line could also be felt in Le Mans, France. Vivien Borgmann competed for the German team in the Junior Tour with the Estobar NRW – Florencio I daughter Especially. 73.258% was enough for 5th place in the individual performance, preceded by an excellent 3rd place with 71.357%. The measure of all things, however, was ZINQ Emma FH by Escolar – Laurentianer and Lana-Pinou Baumgürtel, who won both tests with 72.667 and 79.483% respectively. Thus, the overall victory could not be taken away from the German team.
