The stallion station Gut Neuenhof was also well represented this year with its 16 offspring of its stallions. The biggest part of this was Gold Garant with his brilliant first crop, which has been the talk of the town at least since the foal shows began. So the eyes of many spectators rested on the offspring of the Westphalian Champion Stallion on Saturday. And they were not disappointed: The judges scored 4 times 10 for the winning filly by Gold Garant – Nemax bred by Dean Mihaljev, who reached the final on Sunday with 95.17 points. 6th place went to Heidi Schurek, who was still able to place among the TOP 10 of the 2023 crop with her Gold Garant – Almonte N filly.
The colts by Gold Garant were even more successful: Places 1,2 and 4 of the Top 10 were occupied by his sons. The beaming winner on Saturday afternoon was the colt prospect born to Melanie Schütz out of a dam by D-Day AT with 90.17 points. Close behind was another foal bred by Miriam Wemken. Bred out of a Dewino G daughter, the judges awarded 3 times 9.0 in movement as well as in type. Jantje Carlsen was responsible for the fourth placed foal. Also the Gold Garant – Halifax son received 3 times 9.0 for movement.
The championships of the first three places on Sunday were very exciting. The colts started off with Gold Garant offspring taking the first two places on the podium: As on Saturday, the Gold Garant – D-Day AT foal took the lead, followed by the Gold Garant – Dewino G colt. It could hardly have gone better.
In the fillies, the beaming champion foal bred by Dean Mihaljev took the winning title on Saturday afternoon.The proud owner can now look forward to a brand new horse trailer, which also makes the victory visually very special.
In the riding horse colts, an already highly regarded Escolar – Desperados son, who won many fans with an impressive Facebook video in the run-up to the show, placed 6th.The colt prospect, bred by Silke Waering out of a Desperados daughter, received the highest score of all presented colts in this category with 3 times 10 for movement.
