Defying the capricious weather, the silver medallist from last year’s Bundeschampionat, Elastic by Escolar – Dimaggio, started with an impressive round at this year’s World Championships for Young Dressage Horses.
Ridden by Maxi Kira von Platen, the 4-year-old Westphalian bred by Daniela Werheit-Wagemeyer took second place in the preliminary test for 4-year-old dressage horses in Ermelo, the Netherlands. With a score of 8.78, made up of 9.3 for trot, 7.3 for walk, 9.5 for canter, 9.0 for permeability and 8.8 for perspective, the Escolar son recommended himself for the Final tomorrow, Saturday.
