Escaniador by Escolar – Lanciano was the winner of the riding horse test in Delbrück. The strong-gaited gelding bred by Leo Hermanns won under his owner Katharina Hemmer with a score of 8.5. The third-placed horse in the test also had Escolar as his sire. Anna Schölermann had saddled Equador PCH by Escolar – Del Piero, bred by Britta Lienhardt, who had sold the movement artist as a foal to the American Nancy Gooding. As with the winner of the test, all scores for basic gaits and training were in the clear 8 range.
Last but not least, Elodie by Escolar – Soliman de Hus, bred by Dr. Axel Schürner and owned by the Gut Neuenhof stud, won today’s elementary dressage. Katharina Hemmer could be doubly happy as a rider, because she won by a while to the runner-up. This makes us look forward to this year’s Bundeschampionat.
