MÜNSTER-HANDORF. Gleich zwei Söhne des Gut Neuenhof-Stationshengstes Cashmere wurden anlässlich der Vorauswahl zur Westfälischen Hauptkörung 2024 in Münster-Handorf zugelassen.
The two young stallions recommended themselves for the main licensing of jumping stallions, which will take place on December 3 and 4, 2024, not only with outstanding jumping manners and great ability, but also with very good basic gaits and correct conformation.
Both stallions are genuine “children of Gut Neuenhof”, as Sandra Schürner, Managing Director and owner of Hengststation Gut Neuenhof, says. Cashmere himself, a Cristallo son, has already made a name for himself as Vice Bundeschampion and is now successful up to advanced (S*) level. The dams of the two young stallions, the state premium mare Helena and U-Cassina, are also guaranteed sires from Neuenhof. U-Cassina, a daughter of Cassini, is considered one of the Schürner family’s trademark mares and has not only already produced the two licensed sons Caressini and Cronau, but also the mare Cunterbunt, who qualified for the Bundeschampionat several times in 2024 and won, with scores of up to 9.0.
Helena is a direct daughter of U-Cassina and the half-blood stallion Hermes de Lux, who himself was once part of the Gut Neuenhof stallion station collection. She was awarded the state premium and, like her dam, passed a highly rated mare performance test. Both mares represent the proven 2004 Holstein line, which has already produced stallions such as Le Quidam and Landadel.
“We are now particularly looking forward to this year’s main licensing and are already proud of how confidently our two stallions have shown themselves,” says Sandra Schürner. “We would like to thank Georg Wilbers and his fantastic team for the outstanding presentation.”
