Three Westphalian champions from one company – has that ever happened before? We are currently delighted about this particular success. With Bentheim, Gold Garant and Gut Neuenhof’s Maxima, a daughter of our station stallion Maxim, three horses from our station were crowned Westphalian Champions in Münster-Handorf.
Not only we had a good laugh, but also rider Danica Duen, with whom we have been working successfully for years. First of all, her daughter Sophie Luisa Duen rode the pony stallion Gold Garant (Golden Grey – FS Champion de Luxe) to win the championships for five-year-old dressage ponies with a score of 8.66. In the competition for three-year-old riding horse mares and geldings, Danica Duen then celebrated victory in the saddle on Gut Neuenhof’s Maxima (Maxim – Estobar NRW), a “child” of the same two Neuenhof stallions, with individual scores of up to 9.5. And finally, she secured the title of three-year-old riding horse stallion with our three-year-old stallion Bentheim (Belvedere DB – Rock Forever I) with individual scores of up to 9.0 for trot and training. A hat trick!
Our entire team is now optimistic about the upcoming Bundeschampionat. Gold Garant as well as Gut Neuenhof’s Maxima and Bentheim have secured qualification for this year’s Bundeschampionat with their successes in Münster-Handorf. And our stallions Etienne (rider: Moritz Treffinger) and Chevalier (rider: Robert Conredel) have also already punched their ticket for Warendorf. Another youngster from our kennel who has already qualified for the Bundeschampionate: Cunterbunt (rider: Anika Kuhn), a daughter of Caretino out of the proven Neuenhof foundation mare U-Cassina. Cunterbunt, who is also a half-sister to our stallion Caressini, won the Bundeschampionat qualifier in Bornheim-Widdig with a score of 8.8. A show season that has given us great pleasure so far!
