Vainqueur is not only a winning type himself – he also makes winning types. The oldest offspring are characterised by outstanding type, correctness, growth and first-class possibilities in movement. They present themselves as modern riding horses with good nerves, willing to learn and to perform. In 2020, several strikingly rideable offspring from his first crop found new homes at German auctions. Only last year, Vainqueur produced the second most expensive auction foal in Ermelo with the stallion prospect Superieur: For 44,000 Euros, the top foal out of a Sorento dam changed hands after an exciting bidding duel and thus impressively underlines the desirability of his offspring.
If you watch Vainqueur and his rider Hubertus Schmidt in training, you see a couple dancing. Already victorious in the advanced level with over 76 percent, the long-legged Vivaldi son was supposed to make his Grand Prix debut as early as 2022. But his rider's injury prevented the planned rides. Now, international starts in the top class are targeted for 2023. We are sure that Vainqueur will master this challenge effortlessly.
Impressive mechanics and go, Vainqueur delivers typey riding horses with agile hindlegs and the necessary go. They all combine exceptional movement quality with eagerness to work and strong nerves. The oldest among them have already collected impressive successes in young horse competitions. Only in 2022 in Ermelo, Vainqueur presented the second most expensive auction foal with Superieur: For 44,000 Euros, the colt out of a Sorento dam changed hands after an exciting bidding duel.
Vainqueur combines the hereditary quality of Vivaldi, internationally successful in dressage and sire of over 35 licensed sons, with the Hanoverian line 831/Sommerzeit (by Sportanzeiger II), which has already produced eight licensed stallions. Thus he stands in the tradition of unconditional performance blood and genetics secured over generations.
Vainqueur is the stallion of the hour for breeders who have a clear vision.
A first-class sympathetic horse in a wonderful chocolate fox jacket. Always relaxed and always tall in pose, Vainqueur has the highest degree of balance in all gaits, which he implements in an exemplary manner under the rider.
In 2017, he completed the 14-day test in Neustadt/D. with very good scores, qualified for the 2018 Bundeschampionat for five-year-old German dressage horses and was highly placed in medium class. For 2020, the debut in the advanced class is planned with Hubertus Schmidt.
Vainqueur is French and loosely translated means "The Winner!"
The sire Vivaldi was reserve champion of his stallion performance test, won the Pavo Cup in Holland as a five-year-old and also the final of the KWPN show series for stallions in 2009. He was internationally successful in dressage under Hans-Peter Minderhoud (NED) and has delivered over 35 licensed sons for Germany alone.
The dam, Raissa, has already produced four successful sport horses up to advanced (S) level. The dam’s sire, the Oldenburg black stallion Rubioso N, placed highly in the finals at the 1997 and 1998 Bundeschampionats for young dressage horses. Under the Dutch Olympic rider Ellen Bontje he later achieved over 50 victories and placings up to the Grand Prix class of dressage before he passed into the ownership of the Michalke family. He reached his sporting heights under the saddle of Viktoria Michalke, Upper Bavarian Champion, Bavarian Champion, German Champion and the absolute highlight European Team Champion for Young Riders 2007. Numerous offspring (including the licensed Rassolini) are highly successful in sport up to advanced level.
The granddam descends from the large-framed dark chestnut Absinth, who had a brilliant breeding debut in Bavaria and produced, among others, the DLG Champion Mare Nizza as well as the licensed sons Abtino and Aufmarsch. Several stallion mothers grew out of his later breeding in Oldenburg.
The pedigree is also excellently secured in the falling line via the top performer World Champion, the insight trained up to Grand Prix and the top sire Lugano I.
Vainqueur vertritt den hannoverschen Stamm 831/Sommerzeit (v. Aston (DEN), For Final (PB Westf.), Ribiano (PB Rhld.) und Windhuk (Ldb.
